WNBA Playoffs – No Alyssa Thomas

So I am not going to write up the same four teams every time, because at the end of the day I am a lazy person. So generally thinking in GPPs in the WNBA playoffs fading recent bias is the play. Aja Wilson smashed last time. She had 6 blocks, Collier had 7, Bridget Carleton shot like 100% from 3, while Angel McCourtney had foul trouble, Jasmine Thomas shot poorly, Natasha Howard and Alysha Clark missed a lot of shots they normally make.

Now obviously Alyssa Thomas being out is a huge bump to Beatrice and Briona Jones, who will see all the minutes now. Theresa Plaisance can also be used as punt but I much prefer the first two. DeWanna Bonner gets a bump in usage.  I do worry about Vegas focusing on her and shutting her down. She had 6 turnovers last game. I have no interest in Bria Holmes on FD. On this slate there are too many cheap plays that will see minutes.

On Vegas, Jackie Young was benched in the fourth quarter for Danielle Robinson which is very worrisome, especially since Robinson did not play well in the game. I like Angel McCourtney in this game. She has had issues with foul trouble but she was not sky in the fourth quarter last game, I expect her to be aggressive from the get go.

I think if you are playing Seattle-Minnesota Alysha Clark started on Dangerfield, I do wonder if they swap her onto Sims this slate. But other than that I think Collier production was fairly flukey.
