So short handed Phoenix against an awful Atlanta squad, give me all the Phoenix Diggins, and Turner. All strong plays. Kia Nurse and Sophie Cunningham should see the biggest boost here. Needless to say against Atlanta they are strong plays. If you want a low owned value play with Alanna Smith out Kia Vaughn is Phoenix only back up big. She makes some sense in large field GPPs.
*****UPDATE***** Needless to say stack Phoenix now, Griner being out also makes Billings, and Williams better plays. Also don’t forget about Walker and Peddy when stacking Phoenix.
Atlanta Dream
Atlanta is the team I am least interested in on this slate. Monique Billings and Elizabeth Williams make sense as they are gaining all the minutes for the Dream. Other than that Courtney Williams in a GPP is fine, but with Tiffany Hayes back she is less appealing.
Minnesota
I like both Naphreesa Collier and Sylvia Fowles here as this game should stay close. My lean is towards Fowles but will have both (thats called a tout hedge). Aerial Powers popped to 25 minutes last game. If her minutes limit is coming off she is too cheap, especially on FanDuel. Powers is almost lock button worthy on FanDuel. As for the backcourt, it’s clear the hot hand will get the run. Bridget Carleton is the safest. I am going to lean Crystal Dangerfield over Rachel Barnham on this slate but pay attention to the starting lineup for Minnesota.
Vegas
Hamby is back. With no Cambage maybe people don’t play her coming off injury, but this is a great spot for Hamby assuming she gets full run. FWIW I expect Stokes to start. Do not panic if Hamby doesn’t start. Aja Wilson is an extremely strong play. As for the Vegas guards the only one I like is Chelsea Gray ,who should get plenty of run in this matchup.
