Another playoff WNBA DFS slate. Remember what I said before. The studs are going to play as much as they can and value will be hard to find. That goes double here.
Chicago-Conn
This is my least favorite of the two games and Chicago is my least favorite of the four teams to target. The Sun’s defense is legit. Their defense in the playoffs should be even stronger. That being said there is some value on Chicago that interests me, mainly Allie Quigley on FD at 5.1. I expect her to push for 30 minutes here. Also, Azura Stevens got to 27 minutes last game. If she is going to get that run then she is a very strong play. Candace Parker and Vandersloot are fades to me. I will let Walter Waddell chase Diamond DeShields.
In essence this slate boils down to what you do with Alyssa Thomas ,who got to 18 minutes last game. The fact is if Alyssa Thomas is going to get 18 minutes she is under priced on both sites and almost a lock on FanDuel. I am bullish on Thomas but I also expect everyone else to be as well. I like Jonquel Jones a lot here, though I have her below Wilson and Griner. Briona Jones I feel is the big loser with Alyssa Thomas. That being said if Briona Jones is going to be below 10% on a two game slate she is a worth a GPP play (tout hedge). As for the Sun backcourt, Briann January is cheap and will be on the court. She is playable since there are no real good cheap guard plays. I like Jasmine Thomas on FanDuel at that price. DeWanna Bonner is tough to afford. She is questionable but I expect her to play. I expect Bonner to come in below 15% or so and she is always a play at that price.
Phoenix
I like Phoenix a bunch here. Dianne Taurasi’s price is down far enough to take shots. Skylar Diggins is in a good spot as well. I have Brittany Griner slightly ahead of Aja Wilson as my highest scorer on the slate. Brianna Turner as always is too cheap on FanDuel. I hate playing Kia Nurse but she is so cheap, and there are no cheap guards.
Vegas
Vegas is in a quandry Elizabeth Cambage came back last game and played 10 minutes. How much will she play this game? My guess is less than 25. My favorite Vegas forward coming off injury is D’erica Hamby. I think she could see upwards of 25 minutes here. Chelsea Gray is my favorite Vegas guard. No one will play Kelsey Plum but she is worth a shot. Aja Wilson is my number two play on the slate. Riqona Williams is over priced but people will play her. I will not be one of them.
